Services

• Scholarship Programs: We're a proud participant in two annual scholarship programs, the Rochester Chapter of New York State Credit Unions Scholarship Program and the New York State Credit Union League Scholarship Program. These programs may offer our members (graduating high school seniors) an opportunity to recieve financial assistance toward a higher education. Summit members can apply for these scholarships at no charge. Applications are typically available starting in the late Fall months.
• Skip-A-Pay Program: Every year, we give our members the opportunity to have some extra cash during the holiday season with our popular Skip-A-Payment program. For a nominal fee², you may be able to skip your December loan payment!
• Coinstar: Got a jar of coins at home? The Summit now offers you the convenience of Coinstar coin counting. Coinstar is the hassle-free way to turn your loose change into cash quickly and easily, and it's available at all of our branches. Simply pour in the unsorted mix of coins and recieve a voucher reedemable for cash or deposit. It's that easy! An added way that we're here for you!
• BALANCE Financial Fitness Program : With so many financial obligations and options, money management may seem difficult and confusing at times. That's why we've partnered with BALANCE, a financial education and counseling service that can help you get on track, review and improve your credit report, get out of debt, set up a spending and savings plan that works for you, or prepare to buy a home. • MEMBERS Financial Services Program: We all strive for greater financial security. With this in mind, we offer a personal financial management service designed especially for credit union members. The MEMBERS Financial Services Program located at The Summit Federal Credit Union offers a variety of insurance and investment solutions to fit your lifestyle.
• Summit Express^SM Auto Loans: Summit Express is a time-saving service that will make your car buying experience quicker and easier than ever.
• Free Online Services including Summit Online Access, Online Bill Pay, e-statements, online check copies and more.
• Credit Union Service Centers: You can conduct all of your credit union transactions at any particpating Credit Union Service Center location locally, regionally, and nationally - all with no fees. There are over 25 particpating Credit Union Service Centers in the Rochester, Buffalo and Central NY areas and over 2,300 nationwide.
• Financial Education Resources: Review our informative PowerPoint presentations on "Buying Your First Home", "Managing Your Finances" plus "Fraud and Identity Theft", in the Financial Education Programs section of our site.
• The Buyer's Edge Group Buying Plan : This service allows you to get low prices on most major purchases. To obtain The Summit's Group Number and Password so that you can make a purchase, click here.
