Economic Stimulus Payments
Both the direct deposit payments and the paper checks are being processed by the last two digits of a taxpayers' Social Security number. The schedules below represent when you will receive your payment for those people who filed early enough to have their tax returns processed by April 15. Those who file a return after April 15 will receive their economic stimulus payment, but approximately two weeks later than the schedules show. A return must be filed by October 15 in order to receive a stimulus payment this year. For more information, and for an estimate of the amount you will receive, visit the IRS website at www.irs.gov.
