1. All home improvement loans $10,000 and over must be secured. Required information to secure the loan: - Copy of Deed for property being used.
- Verification of current mortgage balance and monthly payment.
- Copies of your most recent/current paid "School Tax" and "Town/County Tax" bills.
- Copies of hired contractor's estimates to complete the work OR materials estimates from the merchant(s) you plan on purchasing the supplies from, if completing the home improvements yourself.
- Name, telephone number, and policy number of Homeowners Insurance Agency.
- Copies of last two most recent pay stubs for all borrowers listed on application.
- Self-employed individuals (and those who want other income to be considered in support of their application) must enclose signed and complete Federal Tax Returns (1040's, all schedules, partnership returns; if any) for the past two years.
- The credit union requires a written evaluation of your property's value. Acceptable forms of evaluation are:
- Paid tax bill provided property's assessed value is noted.
- Copy of signed certified appraisal performed within last 12 months.
- Market Analysis by certified Real Estate Agent; OR
- The Summit can order a neighborhood statistic appraisal for a nominal fee.
