Once the person you referred opens their new account, you will receive the $40 gift within 7 business days, which will be deposited into your Summit Primary Savings account.

Existing members may refer up to 20 eligible new members. Meaning you can earn up to $800.

The person you are referring will need to have your name, address, email or phone number so we make sure you get your $40 gift when they open their new account.

If they’re an employee, retiree or volunteer of one of our member groups.

If they’re an immediate relative of or share a permanent residence with a member or potential member of The Summit.

Or if they live, work, worship, volunteer or attend school within the geographic boundaries of:

The Summit is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration. Membership eligibility required. The following criteria must be met by both parties to receive the $40 gift. NEW MEMBER: To be eligible for the offer, you must establish a new Summit Primary Savings Account between 8/15/26 and 10/31/26. Once your new account has been opened, the $40 gift will be deposited into your Summit Primary Savings account within 7 business days. This promotional offer is only available to Primary Savings account holders who have not previously been a member and is limited to one account per member. You must keep your Primary Savings Account open and in good standing through 4/30/27. EXISTING MEMBER: You must be in good standing with us to receive your $40 gift, which will be deposited into your Summit Primary Savings account within 7 business days of the referred member’s Primary Savings account opening. Existing members may refer up to 20 new members. Offer excludes Estate and Safari Club accounts. This offer is subject to change at any time without notice. Offers may not be combined. The $40 gift is considered interest and is reportable on IRS Form 1099-INT. You will be responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes relating to the $40 gift.
