Scholarship opportunities are a great perk for members looking to go to college.

Current Scholarships:

Rochester Chapter Scholarship

The Rochester Chapter of the New York Credit Union Association will be awarding scholarship funds to outstanding high school seniors that are members of participating Rochester Chapter Credit Unions. The 2023 NYCUA Rochester Chapter College Scholarship Program application is closed.

The deadline for this application was February 28, 2023. Scholarship winners will only be notified on or before June 30, 2023

The Summit’s 2023 Scholarship Program

The Summit Federal Credit Union will award scholarships to outstanding high school seniors who are members of The Summit and MUST:

  • Be a current member of The Summit and the primary account holder (New members are welcome to apply).
  • Be a college bound high school senior for the 2022/2023 school year.
  • Be attending college for the first time in the fall of 2023.
  • Plan to enroll in either a two- or four-year accredited educational institution in the fall of 2023.

The Summit 2023 Scholarship Program application is now closed.

The Summit Scholarship Program

The deadline for this application was February 28, 2023. Applications must have been postmarked on or before February 28, 2023. Scholarship winners only will be notified on or before April 19, 2023. Only complete submissions will be considered.

New York Credit Union Association Scholarship

The Summit is a proud participant in the New York Credit Union Association Scholarship Program (NYCUA). This program offers our members an opportunity to receive financial assistance toward higher education expenses. The 2023 New York Credit Union Association Scholarship application is now closed.

New York Credit Union Association Scholarship Program

The deadline for this application was January 7, 2023. The application, transcripts and essay must have been submitted to the NYCUA prior to that date. Winners and award notifications will be received in May 2023.
