- While your card is in temporary “off” mode most new purchases and ATM transactions will not be processed. Preauthorized transactions and authorized reoccurring transactions may be approved while the card is in “off” mode. You remain responsible for monitoring all transactions.
- OTP for online payment is required only at merchant websites that support the 3D Secure (3DS) authentication protocols/ Entering OTP provides extra security for online transactions. Transactions originating with a 3D Secure merchant pass through a risk-assessment process set up by The Summit. If the authorization is considered higher risk or out of normal activity, OTP will be generated for validation the authentication. You can review the 3DS OTP disclosure here.
