College Scholarships

The Summit’s Scholarship

The Summit Federal Credit Union will award scholarships to outstanding high school seniors who are members of The Summit and MUST:

• Be a current member of The Summit and the primary account holder (New members are welcome to apply).
• Be a college bound high school senior for the 2025/2026 school year.
• Be attending college for the first time in the fall of 2026.
• Plan to enroll in either a two- or four-year accredited educational institution in the fall of 2026.

The Summit’s Scholarship application is now closed.

The deadline for this application was February 28, 2026. Applications must be postmarked on or before February 28, 2026. Scholarship winners will only be notified on or before April 15, 2026. Only complete submissions will be considered.

The Summit’s Skilled Trade Scholarship

The Summit Federal Credit Union will award scholarships to eligible high school seniors who are members of The Summit and MUST:

• Be a current member of The Summit and the primary account holder (New members are welcome to apply).
• Be a high school senior for the 2025/2026 school year.
• Plan to pursue a two or four-year degree or a Certificate, or Diploma at a trade school, technical certificate program, or apprentice program for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Rochester Chapter Scholarship

The Rochester Chapter of the New York Credit Union Association will be awarding scholarship funds to outstanding high school seniors that are members of participating Rochester Chapter Credit Unions.

The 2026 NYCUA Rochester Chapter College Scholarship Program application is now closed.

The deadline for this application was February 28, 2026. Applications must be postmarked on or before February 28, 2026. Scholarship winners will only be notified on or before April 15, 2026. Only complete submissions will be considered.

New York Credit Union Association Scholarship

The Summit is a proud participant in the New York Credit Union Association Scholarship Program (NYCUA). This program offers our members an opportunity to receive financial assistance toward higher education expenses.

The 2026 New York Credit Union Association Scholarship application is now closed.

The deadline for this application was January 9, 2026. The application, transcripts and essay must have been submitted to the NYCUA prior to that date. Winners and award notifications will be received in May 2026.
