For the second year in a row, The Summit was the title sponsor of Advance Media/Syracuse.com’s Treasure Hunt. This event, now in its 39th year, awards the finder of a 1-1/2” medallion, hidden somewhere in Onondaga County, with a $2,000 prize.
Last year, The Summit introduced a charitable component, encouraging the public to nominate their favorite small charity and, through a voting process, whittled down that list to three finalists. The finder of the medallion then chooses a charity from those three finalists to receive a $1,000 donation from The Summit and an advertising package from Advance Media. This year, over 3,100 people visited our website to participate in the nomination and voting rounds.
Jordan Antonacci-Brown from Syracuse found the medallion and chose Gigi’s Playhouse, based in Cicero, as the receiving charity.
