Earlier this year, we began a 2-year partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace chapters in Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse. Employees of The Summit and their families joined together with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace – NY, Rochester chapter for our first bed build of 2025, held at our corporate office on Saturday. We were able to build the pieces for 22 beds, which will be delivered to children in need over the coming months.
The Rochester chapter has over 400 kids on its waiting list for a bed, and we’re working with them to ensure that “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!” We held a very successful pillow drive in April and are spending the next few months hosting bed builds in each area.
