The Summit has long been a supporter of “Shop With a Cop” programs throughout the regions that we serve. This program is a community initiative that connects law enforcement officers with local youth, fostering positive relationships between youth and police. Kids got to shop for gifts for their families and were treated to goodie bags, pizza parties, and other treats!
This year, our Shop with a Cop events touched nearly 400 area kids as we partnered with Police Departments in Greece, Irondequoit, Brighton, City of Rochester, Syracuse, City of Cortland, Town of Tonawanda and Buffalo, and Sheriff’s Offices in Seneca, Onondaga, and Cortland counties.
