The Summit has been a long-time supporter of Rochester’s Veterans Outreach Center, Inc. and this year is a sponsor of “Pound the Ground,” the VOC’s 5k. Held at Mendon Ponds Park on August 23rd, “Pound the Ground” supports the VOC’s critically needed programs.
The Summit team joined over 400 other runners and walkers, many of whom are veterans, for this exciting event.
This year’s 5K is one of several events that the VOC holds annually including their Flag Day distribution, Golf Fore Vets Tournament, Hope for Heroes Telethon, and the November Stars and Stripes Gala. 2023, marks the 50th anniversary of The Veterans Outreach Center.
