All year, people in Western New York need help getting food to live. With our current situation, even more have become vulnerable to hunger. FeedMore of WNY provides these members of our community with the food they need.
The Summit Federal Credit Union recently delivered a check of around $1,500 to FeedMore. The money was raised at a “plate” drive at both the Delaware/Hertel and Clarence branches during the holidays. All funds went directly to FeedMore.
“The Summit and our team in Buffalo has been supporting FeedMore WNY since 2009,” said Keith Parwulski, Director of Regional Branch Services at The Summit. “During that time, $20,000 has been donated by The Summit, our members and employees, totaling 116,134 meals. It’s part of who we are and our commitment to giving back to the communities that we serve.”
