The Summit’s partnership with Rochester Regional Health’s Mobile Mammography Unit, was established with the ultimate goal of making breast cancer screenings more readily available for women across several counties in New York. Between work and family needs, getting a mammogram may seem impossible, but early detection is key! The RRH Mobile Mammography Unit offers FREE, 3D mammograms to those over the age of 40 who have not been screened in the past year. The unit features private dressing rooms, certified mammography technologist, and fast service, with most screenings taking less than 15 minutes.
On Saturday, October 19th, 2024 the unit will be at I-Square, 400 Baker’s Park, Rochester, NY 14617 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm to provide Summit staff, members, and the general public with access to the same state of the art technology that you would find at any breast imaging center, so tell your family & friends!
Insurance is accepted but not required, and there is no charge for this service. However, if you do have insurance, please bring your insurance card with you.
