The Summit Federal Credit Union and Greece Police UPA team up to change kid’s holidays another year. The Summit donated to the Greece Police Uniformed Patrolman’s Association in support of their Shop With A Cop program. Every year for 20 years the Greece officers have joined forces with the Greece Central School District to nominate 30+ children to take Christmas shopping.
These children met on the first Saturday of December at a Walmart where they are greeted with breakfast before they cheer on the arrival of the big guy himself…Santa Claus. The kids then get to enjoy spending time with uniformed police officers while they shop for toys, clothes and other items they want; up to the $150 dollar amount. After they complete their shopping trip, all participants are provided lunch before they leave.
