March 16, 2023. Rochester, N.Y. – Galaxy Media has announced that Central New York’s biggest food and music festival, The Summit Federal Credit Union Taste of Syracuse, will return for its 25th Anniversary on Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3, 2023, in and around Clinton Square from 11:00am to 10:00pm both days. Admission is free.
Taste of Syracuse is sponsored by The Summit Federal Credit Union and presented by Tops Friendly Markets.
Festival-goers will have the chance to sample delicious items from local eateries for only $2. Several new restaurants and vendors will be joining the 2023 festival, and many fan favorites will be returning. The Taste of Syracuse will feature a new streamlined layout and that will be centralized around Clinton Street. The festival will expand down to Washington Street and will utilize two new parking lots around that area.
The Taste of Syracuse will have non-stop music for two days featuring over 26 bands and over 100 local musicians. The Grammy-Award nominated, iconic 90’s alternative band, Spin Doctors, will headline the festival on Saturday night on the Sysco Main Stage. Additionally, American rock band, Eve 6, will perform on the Washington Stage early evening on Saturday. The popular youth talent showcase will return to the festival on Saturday from 11:00am-1:30pm.
The Taste of Syracuse will collect donations for two charitable organizations, PEACE Inc. Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Syracuse Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The Summit, Tops, along with other sponsors and vendors will be working with the festival to raise money for these great charities all weekend long. All proceeds from activities at The Summit’s tent and the Tops tent will be donated to the charities.
