The Summit In The Community

Giving back to our communities

At The Summit, we believe that to fully serve our members, we also need to serve their communities. To fulfill this commitment, The Summit supports hundreds of local charities through in-kind donations, event sponsorships and participation in fundraising activities.

Here are just a few of our contributions in the Rochester region in 2020.

  • Free financial education or counseling sessions: 1,405
  • Individuals assisted with no-cost financial education or counseling: 5,625
  • Donations made to area charities, non-profit organizations and schools: 120
  • Dollars raised and donated to local charities, community projects, non-profit organizations and schools: $124,700
  • Total staff hours volunteered: 1,260

Syracuse Law Enforcement Honored at Golisano Upstate Children’s Hospital

January 14, 2019

For Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, The Summit joined patients of Golisano Upstate Children’s Hospital and their families for dinner, provided by Chick-fil-A of Cicero. We also presented a $1000 donation to the hospital on behalf of Syracuse Police and Onondaga Sheriffs, who gave out police-themed prizes and answered questions for the kids.
