With Summit’s FREE Online Bill Pay1, you can pay anyone, at any time, from anywhere that you can access your account online. Bill Pay lets you pay and manage your bills from one simple-to-use site. You can even schedule your payments so you don’t miss due dates.

What You Will Need:

  • Summit Online Access username and password or account number and temporary Personal Identification Number (PIN) for initial Summit Online Access setup
  • A recent bill or statement to reference your payee’s information (recommended to confirm payment information)

Find the “Pay Bills” tab here. Tap “Bill Pay” to pay your bills

Set Up Payee

Check the “deliver by” date. If it’s 2 business days, the payment is electronic. If it’s 5 business days, the payment is sent by mail and can take up to 10 business days to be received.

On the Mobile App

  1. Login Information: From The Summit FCU Mobile App, enter your username and password (or account number and temporary PIN for initial Online Access setup).
  2. Bill Pay Registration (Mobile App): To register for Online Bill Pay via the Summit FCU Mobile App, select the “Bill Pay” icon (Note: If you are already registered for Online Bill Pay through The Summit Online Access, skip to Step 4).
  3. Terms and Conditions: To enroll in the service, select the box indicating you accept all Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions you will not be able to register for Online Bill Pay. After accepting the Terms and Conditions, select “Complete Sign Up.”
  4. Pay Bills: To pay bills, select the “Bill Pay” icon.
  5. Payee Setup: If you need to pay a new payee, type the new payee into the “Add a person or business” field and select “Add.”
    1. If the payee is known, enter and confirm the account number then select “Add Payee.”
    2. Some payees require additional information. Enter the account number (if applicable) and address, then select “Add Payee.”
  6. Make a Payment: To make a payment to an existing payee:
    1. Select the payee from the list.
    2. Ensure the “From” account is the correct account, enter the amount you wish to pay.
    3. Choose a “Send On” date, and then select the “Pay” button.
  7. Confirm Payment: Review the details of your payment and select “Confirm” to make the payment or “Cancel” to revise the payment details. After confirming, you will receive a “Success!” message.

Login Information

Find the “Pay Bills” tab in the top menu bar. Click “Bill Pay” to pay your bills

Your Payment has been Confirmed

On Computer

  1. Login Information: Visit www.summitfcu.org and sign in with your username and password (or account number and temporary PIN for initial Summit Online Access setup).
  2. Bill Pay Sign Up: Select the “Pay Bills” tab at the top of the page. Enter requested information in the space provided.
  3. Terms and Conditions: To enroll in the service, select the box indicating you accept all Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions you will not be able to register for Online Bill Pay.
  4. Payee Setup: In the “Add a Payee” section, select from the list of common payees or use the search box.
    • If the payee is recognized by the Online Bill Pay system, enter and confirm the account number then select “Add Payee.”
    • Certain payees require additional information. Enter the account number (if applicable) and address, then select “Add Payee.”
    • To add additional payees, type in the person or business you want to pay in the “Enter Person or Business” search field.
  5. My Bills and People I Pay: To make a payment, choose a payee, enter the amount you wish to pay and the date you want the payment to be made. Delivery timeframes can vary by payee. Below the send date, a date for when you can expect the payee to receive the payment will auto-populate.
  6. Confirm Payment: Review the details of your payment and select “Confirm” to make the payment or “Cancel” to revise the payment details. After confirming the payment, you will receive a “Success!” message.

About eBill

  • An eBill is an electronic copy of your paper bill that you can view anytime from within the Bill Pay service.
  • You will be notified when your eBill arrives and when it is due.
  • To identify if your payee is eligible to receive an eBill, locate the payee in your payee list and click anywhere on it. If you see a “Get eBill” link to the left of the payee name, an eBill is available.
  • To sign up, select the “Get eBill” link, or click on the payee’s options link.

Resources and information

NOTE: The majority of bill payments are made electronically via ACH transfer. Payments may also be made via check. The specific payment method is determined by payee account information.  Payments sent electronically will take up to three business days and payments sent by check may take up to 5 business days to reach the payee and is reliant upon the USPS.

  1. Mobile Banking is a free service available only with a Summit FCU Account. Your mobile carrier’s text messaging and data charges may apply. The Bill Pay option is free to all Summit members. Bill payments will be deducted from your Summit account via electronic bill payment through the ACH (Automated Clearing House). If the vendor to whom you are making your payment does not accept payment electronically, checks will be mailed directly to them.
  2. Electronic payments may take 3-5 days to be received. Check payments may take up to 10 business days.
  3. If you opt to receive e-bills, you will be required to review and approve all e-bills prior to authorizing a payment. This is an important step to ensure that all billing is accurate.
